[Windows SIG] Firefox question

Googling "firefox bookmarks location" led me to the Profiles page at Mozilla. It then has a link to Backing up your information both of which should be helpful.

They both discuss "How to find your profile", but it sure was not clear to me! I little searching with that as a guide led me to this folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\Mike\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\u0sntpg8.default
where Mike is my Windows user id.

In it was bookmarks.html with the date/time of when I added a bookmark a few minutes before and opening it as a web page included the bookmark I just added.

HTH
Mike

Subject: [Windows SIG] Firefox question

Message
Supposedly one can backup all settings and bookmarks (in Firefox) by copying the "profile" under C:\program files\mozilla firefox\profiles. I find that folder and files but they are dated 2006. I did a search for "profiles" and find nothing from 2008. Where is the file(s) I need to save? HELP!!!

Thanks.

Craig
