Windows Secrets did an review of SP3. It might only be available to paid
subscribers, but you can check it out on their website (WindowsSecrets.com).
Look under Newsletter|Library, or something like that, latest edition.

Not publically available until Apr 29th.
If you have a subscription to MSDN or TechNet, the upgrade is available for
download though I hear it's as large as 400MB depending on the version you
want/need.
Please don't quote me but, memory reminds me that... tests of the RTM
candidates showed a slight increase in speed (about 10%). And, except for
the problems that were reported, the recommendations were mostly that it was
(a) long overdue, (b) greatly valued because it replaces the 100+ patches
since SP-2 and (c) actually seems to work.
As usual, I'm going to go with Brian Livingston's recommendation (if I can
find it). The first part of which is: "Wait for the early adopters do the
final beta testing for us and then go with the result/recommendations they
advise."

Has anyone running XP upgrading to Service Pack 3?
And if so, would your recommend it and did it speed up your system any?
Thanks.
