  Granger,
When you go the web site, you must log in and out of each account seperately to view the accounts. I know that sounds silly. As an example, when I log into my account, I cannot see my wife's account. I must log out and then re log in to see her account.

......inter-relationship between my webmail account and my Outlook Express accounts.....
The relationship is that they are the same accounts that you have set up in OE. Should you be in Shanghai and have access to the Internet, you would be able to view your email at rr.com.

......Should these 2 accounts mirror each other or when I open Outlook Express and download the emails sent to me does this remove them from the RR Webmail inbox?.....

Yes, when you access your emails through OE, you have the option to 1) leave the email/messages on rr.com's server or 2) have them removed once you have downloaded them.

First, you must have all of your email accounts set up. A quick check follows: In the same area that you see "Snd/Rec" or "Send/Receive", just to the right of that you will see a very small down arrow. Click on the down arrow and you should see your three accounts listed at the bottom of the menu that opens. If you don't see the three accounts, then you have not set one or more of them up correctly.

Once you have determined that all your accounts are present, do the following:
  1) Click on Tools on the menu bar.
  2) Choose Accounts and then choose one account
  3) Select Properties and then select Advanced
  4) At the bottom of the Advanced tab, you will find Delivery. Below Delivery, there should be a box unchecked that says: "Leave a copy of message on server". Again, THAT BOX SHOULD BE UNCHECKED.
  5) Repeat steps 1 through 4 with the other accounts and you will remove the email/messages from rr.com's server whenever you check email/messages from that computer.

.....In reviewing this area another question comes up; should I be able to access my 3 alternate email accounts at my RR webmail site......

Answer above in steps 1 - 5. Yes, you can access all email accounts with OE.

Now, to your original problem. Unfortunately, I am not sure what it is you are describing and/or what the problem is. You state that you have given several websites your email address [cp] (or rather one email address), but that you are getting email from the same vendors at [b] address? Are you sure that you did not give different addresses to the different vendors? If so, check the properties of the incoming emails for the email addresses that were used by the vendors to make sure that they are the [cp] account. Look at them closely since you are using very similar addresses.

I suspect that we may have to set up some message rules to get the emails directed to a folder that suits your needs. This is easy enough to do once you get the hang of it. Let us know where you are with the problem. I see that Michael B just explained a lot of what I tried to explain. Maybe his is clearer. Let us know.

I went to my webmail account and there is no forwarding information in the Options/Settings area. I do not understand the inter-relationship between my webmail account and my Outlook Express accounts. When I went to my webmail there were no emails in my inbox, but there were at least 3 emails in my default email Outlook Express account. Should these 2 accounts mirror each other or when I open Outlook Express and download the emails sent to me does this remove them from the RR Webmail inbox?

In reviewing this area another question comes up; should I be able to access my 3 alternate email accounts at my RR webmail site? The only one that seems to be available is my default email account.

Hi Granger, Let me ask you a question, Are the emails going to the wrong location in only Outlook Express, or if you go to the RR webmail, are they going to the wrong location there too? here is the webmail address: https://webmail.austin.rr.com/

This is the first thing I would do; Secondly, check in the webmail settings while you are there also, there is a place you can type in a forwarding address, if there's one there, that could be your problem. (it's under options and settings), I did this for myself one time and then forgot to turn it back off.

if you go there and log in to each of your accounts and everything is going to the right place, the problem is very likely a setting or mistaken information in your account settings in Outlook Express.

In that case I'll need to punt...

There are no message rules in my alternate email accounts of
which I have

three. Shouldn't any incoming emails addressed to these accounts go

directly to these email accounts and stay there unless there are
some

forwarding

instructions? As I stated above, there are no active message
rules in

any

of my email accounts. However, that is not what is
happening. Emails

addressed to
Grangercp at austin.rr.com are
coming to my default email

account
Grangerb at austin.rr.com.
This has been explained in my previous

emails. I

just sent a email from my default email account to

Grangercp at austin.rr.com

and it arrived in that email account and stayed there, but when I
get

emails from various websites addressed to Grangercp at ..., they come to
my

default email account.

This email that you sent to me explains how to get emails forwarded
or

directed to specific folders, etc. I do not want to do
that. If an

incoming email is addressed to
Grangercp at austin.rr.com, I
want it to go

to

that email account and stay there. PLEASE HELP ME TO RESOLVE
THIS ISSUE.

This is about the 4th email I have sent on this subject to you'all.

Hello Wallace,

Thank you for contacting Time Warner Cable, Road Runner technical
e-mail

support.

As per your e-mail, I understand that you need the option in Outlook

Express for mail forwarding.

Please follow the steps mentioned below to resolve the issue that
you

are facing.

"Auto Email Forwarding Using Message Rules"

Open Outlook Express Select Tools>message rules>mail Select the
mail

rules tab and click new

Here I've configured that all incoming messages are forwarded to
another

mailbox. You can be selective and only forward messages from
particular

senders, subject etc.

Name the rule and click ok. You see a list of male rules ensure that
the

rule you have just configured has a tick in the box and if necessary

move it up or down .

Click ok to finish. All incoming email will now be forwarded to the
new

email address specified.

You should note that the email will only be forwarded after you open

Outlook Express! As is the case with all message rules.

If you have any further questions feel free to reply to this email.

Dear Wallace,

Thank you for your response. I understand that your e-mail is
being

received by the wrong Outlook Express Inbox. I can certainly
assist

you

with this issue.

If your e-mail is being received in the wrong Outlook Express Inbox,

you

may have an incorrect account name in your Outlook Express
settings.

To

correct your settings, please consider the following steps and
repeat

these steps for each Outlook Express Identity:

1) Open Outlook Express then click on the "Tools"
menu and select

"Accounts".

2) Click on the "Mail" tab.

3) For each account under the "Mail" tab, consider
the following:

 a) Double click on the account to open the Properties
window.

 b) Under the General tab check the "E-mail
address" and "Reply

address" that are entered.

 c) Under the Servers tab, ensure the "Account
name" matches the

e-mail addresses under the General tab. For example, in the
case of

johndoe at austin.rr.com, the
account name must be entered as johndoe to

receive the
johndoe at austin.rr.com
e-mail. Having a mismatched reply

address, e-mail address, or account name in any of the accounts
could

disorganize your e-mail.

4) If you have accounts listed under the "Mail" tab
that should not

be

in this identity, highlight the account and click on
"Remove".

Next, after checking all accounts under the "Mail" tab, if
you have

other Outlook Express Identities, select the "File" menu,
click on

"Switch Identity", then highlight the identity name and
click OK to

switch.

If you have any further questions or problems, please feel free to

e-mail us again for further

assistance. When replying to this address, please include this

message

as well as all previous

correspondence regarding this issue.

Thank you for choosing Time Warner - Road Runner and have a great
