[Windows SIG] Winter Must B Coming - WinXP Freezing Sooner & Sooner

Hey DJ,

Have you tried knoppix to see if you can see the partitions with
it...sometimes when all else fails....good old Knoppix will allow me to
save data to another drive (maybe an external h/d).

Just a thought....otherwise, install the "failing" drive into another
system as slave and boot another windows system (if you have one) to
allow for removal of needed data....this is what I resort to for my
clients/friends who have to have the data and can't get it any other way.

Let me know if you want to pursue this as I have eight systems at home
that I could try it with.

Sincerely,

Lita Letourneau
